The weathers getting warmer and drier and, as you might already know, our lips get fairly dehydrated during this period. They tend to retaliate by getting dry, cracked and thus, they reject our longest-lasting matte lipstick.

This is usually the season I stack my shelves with fruity lip balms, and since I have an unhealthy addiction with lip balms, you will see them everywhere!

Just like winter during summer our lips require a lot of care and attention, The skin on your lips is significantly thinner than that on the rest of our body which is why during the summer months it is more susceptible to the damage caused by UVA and UVB rays. A good lip balm can help with loss of surface moisture too.

My experience

What I love about them is that their non-sticky and extremely hydrating with their natural ingredients coming from Coconut Oil, Moringa Oil, and Acerola Cherry Extract.

Untinted Lip Oil – A clear and transparent one, hydrating and ideal for moisturizing your lips when you don’t want any pigmentation, ideal before sleeping or when at home.

Midnight Orchid Lip Oil – A slightly and subtly darker pigmented lip oil, perfect to wear during your casual night outs, giving a hint of maroon pigmentation.
