10 tips to start your morning Happy

Wake Up with Natural Light

One trick to improve how you feel in the morning is to go to sleep with the blinds or curtains halfway open. This way, you will be gradually woken up by the rising sunlight, and if you can keep this routine, you may be able to consistently get up in the morning without an alarm clock.

Pray or Meditate

The numerous rewards of praying in the morning can be remarkable and unprecedented in your life. And that’s a fact. For example, it can make you reap amazing rewards for all aspects of your life: whether physical, emotional, or above all spiritual rewards that will hugely increase your well-being. It can help you defeat temptation and helps you focus better, making you strong for whatever you encounter during your day, and the benefits go on and on.

Avoid Hitting the Snooze Button

Hitting the snooze button is more harmful than helpful because those extra few minutes of sleep do not provide you with quality rest. This can make you groggier in the morning and interfere with your body’s urge to wake up at the same time every day. As painful as it may be on some mornings, once you hear that alarm, do your best to get out of bed.

Do not check your notifications as you wake up.

You have read it multiple times by now not to check your phones first thing in the morning. While that’s a habit that’s hard to change, what you can do is not check your notifications right away. There will be work emails, bill reminders, messages from people you don’t like, and whatnot. Now that is not something you would want if we want to learn how to start your day positively, right?

Water First, Caffeine Second

A cup of coffee is the first thing that many of us drink in the morning. When you have a busy day ahead of you, it can be very easy to become distracted and drink nothing but coffee until well into the afternoon. Start your morning off with a tall glass of water before you pour yourself a cup of coffee. Dehydration can impact your focus, productivity, and mood, so drink up!

Eat Breakfast

It’s my favorite and the most important meal of the day! Start your day with a decent meal, combining protein, whole grains, and healthy fats. whether it’s a whole-grain toast with peanut butter and berries or a banana. or fruit, and yogurt. Breakfast is a great way to start your day on a positive note!

Sweeten your Morning

While you may assume a “healthy” breakfast mostly consists of egg whites and veggies, just a little bit of sugar in the morning helps your brain start firing on all cylinders, according to Psychology Today. So, there might be a case for keeping up that sugar-in-your-coffee habit after all — though just a teaspoon will do!

Exercise or Stretch

Exercising or Stretching soon after you wake up can help improve your concentration, energy, and mood throughout the day. This gets the blood flowing to your arms and legs, and can help you feel limber and energetic as you’re starting the day. Stretching helps diminish any stress caused by physiological or psychological factors, and also helps make your posture more flexible and robust.

Listen to some slow music or calming jazz

The secret to rising and shining with glee may be hidden in your playlist. In recent studies, it was found that songs with a slow build, a positive message, and a strong beat will help you wake up in a better mood. It helps lowers your stress hormone (cortisol) levels. You can feel less stressed by listening to your favorite music.

Get to work Early

Get out of home a little earlier than usual. This will take away the stress of being late to work. You will not have to run to the bus, feel stressed and nervous in traffic jams, or arrive to work tired and irritated.

Our bodies crave routine and naturally follow the good habits that form. Routines are not put in place for when you are feeling great, they are there for the days when you aren’t feeling your best. If you practice healthy routines, your body is more likely to recover faster and less likely to get sick in the first place.

Starting your day with happiness can fill your whole day with happiness.
