Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at Dubai Opera where there’s something for everyone! From the much-loved returning Jingle Bell Favourites and ballet to traditional choral music of Handel’s Messiah, interspersed with pop-up performances by the National Youth Orchestra and GEMS Choir.

Plus a new Christmas Market, free to all, from Dec 4 – 14 where you can indulge in authentic festive treats, seasonal shopping, and activities for children.

SHOWS:

• The Nutcracker: The beauty of Russian ballet set to Tchaikovsky’s splendid score combines to create a living art form that is difficult to forget. Brought to life by the St-Petersburg Tchaikovsky Ballet Theatre with exquisite dancing, beautiful sets and Tchaikovsky’s timeless score performed by a live orchestra.
• Handel’s Messiah: A musical masterpiece and George Frideric Handel’s crowning achievement, first performed in the spring of 1742, that has become one of the world’s most beloved musical works.
• Music in the Studio: A Royal Opera House star soprano, Mary Bevan will bring her sparkling performance to Dubai to celebrate the Season. Amira Fouad, our curator of Music in the Studio joins Mary at the piano which will feature some Festive favorites.
• The South: The South (featuring Alison Wheeler ex-The Beautiful South on vocals), will be performing for one night only on 11 December. The South will have you up and dancing before the nights out!
• Jingle Bell Favorites: A family concert of carols and much-loved Christmas classics performed by London Concert Orchestra Show Band, Capital Voices and West End soloists.
