Winter Melons and Strawberry smoothie πŸ“πŸˆπŸΉ

Since summer is at its peak in Dubai, it’s always great to start your day with a refreshing smoothie, and a great way to use your strawberries. This drink not only helps you feel refreshed but also helps detox your system.

Winter melons, also known as (Ash Guards), have amazing health benefits, the most important one is to help debloat and wash away all your toxins. The strawberries provide additional benefits such as regulating blood pressure, aids in weight loss and a high dose of vitamin C to help keep your bones healthy!

Winter Melon & Strawberry Smoothie

  • Servings: 1-2

Refreshing & Healthy Smoothie


Ingredients

  • 6 strawberries chopped in half
  • 1 glass of water
  • One-quarter piece of winter melon without skin
  • Honey optional

Directions

Blend all the ingredients together and strain the pulp.

Note – You can add yogurt or milk if you prefer but I think the combination of the melon and strawberries would be better off with water.

You can also use a mixture of different berries if you’d like. I love to throw in a few raspberries to get that extra blooming red color to your drink.
