This Fall/Winter, Majid Al Futtaim’s City Centre Deira and City Centre Mirdiff are hosting a schedule packed full of great fashion experiences and winning opportunities. Given the opportunity to attend the fashion show, I was excited as I made my way through the red carpet and was greeted by 2 gorgeous girls, who escorted me to my seat since I was early I had some time with the media people for some photo sessions! Yes, I felt like a star, red carpet, photo shoots all the glam feel from the fashion show.

As I made my way to my seat they placed goody bags on all the chairs, which was great! I made sure I got my front seat view, it’s always luxury to have a front viewing to a fashion show, and noticed people coming in, photographers busy with photo shoots, and a lot of setups were happening, from the mic men testing and the agency staff looking very busy to make sure the show was a success, Kudos to all the staff to make this show a pleasure to attend and a success!

I was all set for my live periscope session, keeping my mobile ready for the shoot!

The show kick-started with some dancers and a singer to keep us entertained, the guy had a great voice singing the number Ocean Drive by Duke Durmont. Right after the musical a model walked the ramp with a flag of Karen Millen, those shows that the collection following her were collections from Karen Millen.

The models walking the ramp wore very classy and elegant outfits from Karen Millen, tones of Black , formals, Lace, monochromatic were the highlights.

Then came the Armani Exchange, formals , casuals for men, smart casuals adding elegance with a feminine flair to the outfits, crisp cuts, and necklines add the Armani charm to the outfits.

Next was my favorite Kate Spade, the models were wearing, floral printed dressed and t-shirt, and plain bright colored dresses, the highlights were the popular Kate Spade handbags, Kate Spade always has this cheery feel about their style, colors and prints are bright and cheerful.

The metallic multi dot dress and the satin crepe flutter dress were my favorites.

Once the first round was over, we were given a break, during that break time people had the opportunity to take photos and selfies of Instagram star Fouz Al Fahad @therealfouz, a gorgeous and lovely person who was very patient with all her fans wanting to take a selfie with her. Fouz having an Instagram follower base of 1.5 million, is popular for her makeup and fashion sense.

Right after the photo sessions, it was about 25-30 mins for the next show where they started with a light entertainment singing and dancers and then continued with Juicy Coutre. My favorite was the denim jacket with sherpa and the jacquard sweater dress , very stylish outfits for the Autumn/Winter collection where they were chic and sporty especially with the color block french terry jacket and pant.

 

Then came the Jane Norman collection, the classy and sophisticated outfits from smart casuals to evening wears were all elegant, the eye catcher was the camel long sleeve slinky maxi dress, was just gorgeous. Ideal for special occasions, a perfect piece for any party or formal wear! A low-cut neckline in a wrap style gold bead detailing on the cuffs with a classy gold belt to finish the looks off, elegance with total class!

Then came the Super Dry , this brand was more of a casual/daily wear quite stylish, especially the jackets for the men. I like the way the paired the denim jacket with the joggers. Comfortable yet stylish.

The women’s collection was quite stylish as well, though they had the casual wear, the highlight to me was this outfit, the trouser, and the silk shirt was ideal for a casual date night.

 

There was another break announced and then I made my way out as it was getting quite late to stay for the whole show, I did though manage to take quite a few selfies, and with the beautiful meet and greet girls as well!

The show was a success, the atmosphere was definitely similar to the famous fashion  weeks and a very great opportunity for Mirdiff City Centre to showcase their Fall/Winter collection plus a great opportunity to win a 5-star trip of a lifetime!

I had a great time, and most definitely going to check out the Fall/Winter collection in Deira and Mirdiff City Centre and definitely upgrading my wardrobe for this season!
