DIY Project: Reusable Disinfectant Wipes

Disinfectant wipes can be quite pricey and filled with chemicals that can be harmful, My disinfectant wipes were over and since I was in search for my next DIY project, I thought I should try to make my own wipes which are non-toxic and easy to make.

What you will be needing for this project:

  • Dish Washing Liquid
  • Vinegar
  • Kitchen towels
  • Container

Directions:

Add 2 cups of water with 2 tablespoon baking soda and 1/2 cup vinegar and 6-8 drops of your favourite essential oil.

Mix this solution well and pour into a container and soak kitchen towels well and tightly close the lid of the container, make sure this is air tight.

Once this is done, after a few hours when the towels are soaked well you can use this to wipe any surface.

This can sometimes leave a thin soapy layer, you could use another towel to wipe any excess off.

This is very cost effective since I always have to buy packets of disinfectant wipes that can be pricey and chemical free compared to the usual disinfectant wipes.

Hope you find this project useful, thank you for reading!
